About

The Author

Bill Meyers-Riggs is not an accredited pharmacologist, nor does he hold an postgraduate degree in any of the neurological sciences. He is simply an enthusiastic young man with a sixth grade education and an abiding love for all of God’s chemical creations.

Reality and Futility

“At the beginning of the 20th century, there were only two psychedelic compounds known to Western science: cannabis and mescaline. A little over 50 years later — with LSD, psilocybin, psilocin, TMA, several compounds based on DMT and various other isomers — the number was up to almost 20. By 2000, there were well over 200. So you see, the growth is exponential.”

When I asked him whether that meant that by 2050 we’ll be up to 2,000, he smiled and said,

“The way it’s building up now, we may have well over that number.”

If the World Health Organization finds: (a) That the substance has the capacity to produce (i) (1) A state of dependence, and (2) Central nervous system stimulation or depression, resulting in hallucinations or disturbances in motor function or thinking or behaviour or perception or mood, or (ii) Similar abuse and similar ill effects as a substance in Schedule I, II, III or IV, and (b) That there is sufficient evidence that the substance is being or is likely to be abused so as to constitute a public health and social problem warranting the placing of the substance under international control, the World Health Organization shall communicate to the Commission an assessment of the substance, including the extent or likelihood of abuse, the degree of seriousness of the public health and social problem and the degree of usefulness of the substance in medical therapy, together with recommendations on control measures, if any, that would be appropriate in the light of its assessment.

  1. Sir Bill, I thoroughly enjoyed this entire site and cannot wait for further updates. Your posts are brilliant in a way that educate this layman much more gracefully than textbooks have ever been able to.

    Thank you. Very much.

  2. Bloody amazing blog. Mad respect to you, brah.

Is this all the work of 1 highly prolific guy? … a collaboration of 4-10 people seems more likely. Anyhoo… keep up the excellent work!

  3. Your site is a treasure, a treat for the mind and the eye. Such artful integration of information, illustration and insight is rare and wonderful. I’m grateful, envious, and decidedly habituated. All the best!

    • Quite a compliment coming from you Steve.

I highly recommend your family of sites. I’ve put a link to them in the sidebar, hopefully that’s alright with you.

      • Yes, that’s “alright” with me, Bill, lol! I’m going to return the favour asap, and my apologies for taking this long to thank you. I’m hoping to have shulginindex.info ready soon -the structures, all of them, are already posted in pihkal.info.

        All the best, /Steve

      • Hi Bill, I’ve added the link from P/TiHKAL.info to your site. Frankly, I’ve cribbed the whole deal: imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, lol!

Thanks again, for your great site and the link. I really admire your work and I think it all fits together nicely: Ann & Sasha build the narrative, I catalogue the “dots,” and you connect them.

Best wishes, and let’s keep this one just between us-if that’s alright with you 😉

        /Steve

        • Thanks Steve, much appreciated. I can remember first finding your site as a result of your CDSA graphic, funny how these things come around again. Take care and I’ll continue to connect the dots as best I can.

You have a great way of presenting this information Bill, I sincerely appreciate the effort you’ve put into this site. I’ll be dropping by regularly.

    Much love and good vibes.

  4. Love reading your blog! Truly amazing how much information you have gathered here and how easily you convey it. This is the kind of stuff we need to help erase the negative stigma associated with psychedelics. If you want to read some of my musings on the psychedelic experience check out my blog: psyche-delicacies.blogspot.com
Thanks, and keep doing what you’re doing!

Amazing blog Bill, it was just what I have been looking for. I’d like to hear your thoughts on JDTic which is a novel kappa antagonist. Have you read much about it?

  5. I used to be able to get jwh-250 that came as tiny white crystals that flowed when poured and was powerful and very good. Now all I get is a sticky biege powder that has very little effect, and negative at that. If you know about this subject, you know what I’m talking about. Please, can anyone tell me whre I can find the crystals again? Peace and Love, Marty

  6. The Eugenoloids would be a great sequel to the Scalines, Bill 🙂
